Come - and Bring a Friend! March 21, 2009 Speakers Curtis Martin is the President and Founder of FOCUS,
the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, one of the fastest growing
movements in the Catholic Church. A dynamic speaker, Curtis illustrates
how faith in God is lived out in everyday life through humor, stories
and his own captivating life experiences. He equips his audiences with
the tools to discover the fullness of life. Curtis is co-host with Danny
Abramowicz of the new ground-breaking show on EWTN, Crossing the Goal. Dr. Marcellino D'Ambrosio is a modern day Catholic writer who left the world of entertainment to obtain his doctorate in Historical Theology from the Catholic University of America. He is also a popular speaker, retreat leader and pastoral minister. Marcellino brings to his speaking a wealth of pastoral experience in evangelization, ecumenism, liturgy, an in-depth knowledge on Catholic tradition and the interpretation of scripture. He has appeared numerous times as a performer and guest on the EWTN.
Dr. Ray Guarendi is a father of 10, clinical psychologist, author, public speaker and radio host. Dr. Ray draws from his experience working in school districts, Head Start programs, mental health centers, substance abuse programs, inpatient psychiatric centers, juvenile courts, and a private practice. His presentations are packed with plenty of practical ideas, humor and real-life examples, Dr. Ray has been a regular guest on national radio and television including Oprah, CBS This Morning and Catholic Answers Live.
Coach Steve Specht is the highly successful head
football coach at Cincinnati's St. Xavier High School. He led St. X to
two Ohio state championships in 2005 and 2007. But, his influence extends
far beyond the football field. He teaches the Jesuit ideal of each young
man developing to the full measure of his God given talents. Coach Specht
offers his view of how to develop our faith and live the concept that
we are true "Men for Others".
A gifted speaker, spiritual leader, and Pastor of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in West Chester, Ohio, Fr. Mark is actively sought after as a counselor and retreat master. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, attended Roger Bacon High School, and was ordained a priest in 1980.
